Bio

Grew up playing sports; soccer, baseball, basketball, and golf, but never had the passion until I picked up a hockey stick. I started playing hockey at the age of 9 and began as a goalie, as the years went on, I started to try forward. Without any coaches helping me get better at forward, I would only play to get better. Now I have no problem with the transitions of playing forward or goalie. I went to become a United States Marine in 2011, where after bootcamp I started to do triathlons, loving the swim part, which I wasn't good at. It was fun and exhausting at the same time, but I wasn't enjoying waiting around for the next triathlon. That's where I found Crossfit. Loving a sport that is competitive as much as the camaraderie you get out of Crossfit brings all the sports, bootcamp, and the triathlons that I have endured, that I can get out of, of a everyday basis. I've enjoyed Crossfit since joining and haven't looked back. I look forward to more Open wods and more competitions. Ooh-rah!
