How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I follow Paleo for the most part, but I like milk in my coffee.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I workout at the police training facility and at Koda CrossFit Norman.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
Gymnastics-when I was younger. Swimming-throughout high school. Track-throughout high school. Softball-college. Rowing-college.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I train other people
I needed something competitive post-college. I found CrossFit and realized I was stronger after one year of CrossFit than I was throughout my entire college career. I love it, I know that if I make my mind go to that dark place during a hard workout and not give up, and finish strong, that I can mentally overcome anything else. It's a constant battle, but I love it.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
Patrol schedule is typically very volatile, I workout every chance I can when I am not working.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Started Christmas 2012, attended regionals as a member of a team 2013.
