Bio

I've been Crossfitting consistently for nearly two years. I started out doing it twice a week to supplement my circus aerial training and ended up loving it! I gradually moved to three times a week and since January 2013, I've been working out five days a week with an occasional weekend workout thrown in for fun. I didn't include most of the benchmarks as for some reason a lot of my scores are really, really old. Gotta get on that! ^_^

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat whatever is convenient

I completed our box's Paleo challenge and felt so good that I'm planning on going back to it. I was disrupted by Army food for 2 weeks, though.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I also do ruck marches every week or every other week for military stuff.

My Athletic Background

I regularly play recreational sports

There isn't a section for weird individual sports like dance, trapeze and other circus skills, otherwise I'd check off that section!

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

Being a Crossfitter has improved every aspect of my life, quite dramatically. I am very happy with myself and my body, and my confidence has skyrocketed. I was a chronic "runner-up" in my classes and jobs - close enough for glory, but never enough belief to win it. Since I started CrossFit, I have been able to compete and win successfully at things that aren't even CrossFit related. In a nutshell, CrossFit taught me to work consistently, never say I cannot, and accomplish the unimaginable.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

I do not schedule rest days - I listen to what my body says!

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

1-2 years

First at CrossFit Fenway <3 and now at CrossFit Bridgewater!
