My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I started on my own back in 2005, but quickly got bored of doing everything by myself. I decided to focus on other pursuits and finished an Ironman triathlon in 2008. In 2009, I deployed to Afghanistan for the second time and hooked up with the Marines at Crossfit Leatherneck. With good coaching and awesome programming, I grabbed ahold and never let go. Upon return from deployment, I joined up with Crossfit Pacific Beach. I since moved to Monterey, CA and now train at Crossfit Monterey.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
With a six-year-old and a newborn, I workout when I can, but always try to make at least four per week.
