I am in love with Crossfit. I have been crossfitting for about four years. My life is my family. I have three young daughters, 8yr, 6yr, and 18 months. I try to teach them that they can do anything if they Practice, Practice, Practice. My fantastic wife and I own a breakfast restaurant in Kingston, WA. I lost my younger brother in a motorcycle accident 6 months ago. My diet and workout regime has gone awry. I often am thinking of him when I feel like quitting. RIP MIchael. I have an alter ego called "Capt. Paleo". He promotes a healthy lifestyle of limited grains and sugars. He does all of the workouts for me. But a full body suit of tights is very warm and uncomfortable to work-out in. I am not here to win, I am here to have fun. But I am going to win... I just have to get a lot better first. Cheers to Life
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I am gluten free and Meat heavy. I eat steak every single day of my life. I am a chef, and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen surrounded by cheats. I eat more Bacon than any other person in the world
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
I workout at Kitsap Crossfit 1-2 times per week. I workout at home 1-2 times per week. My favorite time to work out is 5am because it feels like I conquer the world before most people wake up. My favorite workouts are short and heavy.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
I played lacrosse in high school. I am very active. I love to play any and all sports. My favorite sport to play is touch football. I own two guinness world records. "Most eggs cracked in one minute, one handed" and "Greatest distance grape caught in mouth, self thrown"
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I never knew how good I could get until I walked into Kitsap Crossfit. My coaches are the best. I often do crossfit in my garage and I call it Rossfit
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I own a restaurant, so I work 7 days a week. and I have 3 young daughters including an 18 month old, so I dont rest often. I usually do around 4 WODs per week.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
My biggest hurdle is consistency. I can go for weeks without working out and then five days in a row. I have been doing mostly heavy workouts lately, so I hope the open WODs tailor to that.
