I am in love with Crossfit. I have been crossfitting for about six years. My life is my family. I have three young daughters, 10yr, 8yr, and 3yr. I try to teach them that they can do anything if they Practice, Practice, Practice. My fantastic wife and I own a breakfast restaurant in Kingston, WA. I am a 3 time "Guinness World Record" holder. 1. Most eggs cracked-one handed-in one minute. (32) 2. Furthest distance grape caught in mouth-self thrown. (68'1") 3. most pancakes made in one hour. (1092) I have an alter ego called "Capt. Paleo". He promotes a healthy lifestyle of limited grains and sugars. He does all of the workouts for me. But a full body suit of tights is very warm and uncomfortable to work-out in. I am not here to win, I am here to have fun. But I am going to win... I just have to get a lot better first. Cheers to Life
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I am gluten free and Meat heavy. I am a chef, and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen surrounded by cheats. I eat more Bacon than any other person in the world
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
I workout at Silverdale Crossfit 3-5 times per week. I workout at home 1 times per week. My favorite time to work out is 5am because it feels like I conquer the world before most people wake up. My favorite workouts are short and heavy.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
I played lacrosse in high school. I am very active. I love to play any and all sports. My favorite sport to play is touch football. I have a 59" Box Jump and a 520lb Deadlift. But other than that, not a lot of strengths
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I workout with a great group of people everyday at 5am. Great coaching.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I own a restaurant, so I work 7 days a week. and I have 3 young daughters including an 3 year old, so I dont rest often. I usually do around 4 WODs per week.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
My biggest hurdle is consistency. I can go for weeks without working out and then five days in a row. I have been doing mostly heavy workouts lately, so I hope the open WODs tailor to that.
