How I Eat

I've tried eating Paleo, but it's extremely tough for me because I LOVE food!!! However, I do eat considerably healthy. I try to stick to lean meats and veggies. Fruits, nuts, and seeds. No dairy. No bread or other complex carbs. I try to keep it light. Don't get me wrong though; I am a big fan of pizza and beer!!!......but I pay for it over the next day or two...with plenty of blood, sweat, and puke!

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

Most of the time, I do the posted WODs in the gym. I arrive 30-40 minutes before class starts to work on lifting technique and proper form. If I'm up to it, I stay a few minutes after the WOD to work on all-around mobility and punishing my weaknesses. Every so often, I'll devote a day to destroying house records. lol Weaknesses: OHSs and HSPUs Can't stand either one, but I'm working on them.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

Funny. I ran track for most of my life, but I dread WODs with running in them. lol. I've played organized basketball several times. Baseball too. Now, I'll only play flag football when the season comes around. Until then, CF!!!!!!!!

My Experience With CrossFit

I started CrossFit in January 2012. I was actually deployed on a ship when I began training. I had a coach on the ship with me who had been doing it for a while. It was really rough at first. After a couple of months, I started to enjoy it...making my workout my favorite part of the day. I lost 67 lbs. over a total of 5 1/2 months! Been hooked ever since!

My Work/Rest Schedule

I strictly schedule my rest days
