I began my Crossfit journey in 2012 @CFLV and it has truly changed my life. Due to a unicameral bone cyst (UBC) I had in my right humerus as a kid, my right arm is 4 inches shorter than my left. I never went to a gym, I rarely worked out (other than running) as I always felt handicapped by my shorter, weaker arm. Exercise machines exposed my unevenness and were difficult to manage. If I pushed myself in the back yard with some dumbbells, I'd always end up hurting myself and confirming the fact to myself that I wasn't 'one-of-those-guys' who could be strong and in great shape. That is the old me. There are still challenges each and every time I workout - but seeing how far I've come makes me so exited to see where I will be a few years down the road.
