How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 6-7 times a day. Breakfast consists of 2 raw eggs, a piece of fruit, 3/4 cup of dry oats and a spoonful of peanut butter. Lunch is usually a nice big mixed green and veggie salad, then a few hours later I'll have some protein like a chicken breats, turkey burger, tuna, salmon burger etc. In between meals I'll have snacks like almonds, granola bars, fruit, yogurt, or sometimes I'll cheat with a cookie or 2. Dinner is lite with a small piece of meat and some fresh raw veggies.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I used to train at a traditional gym but fell off for a while. I've been going to Crossfit Dynamix for since January 2013 and see amazing results so far.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
During the spring and summer I play in a softball league. Throughout the year I may play some pick up football games, and with play on any kind of intramural leage now and again.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I train other people
My girlfriend and I joined together. I love it! It's amazing how encouraging the environment is. I've always been in average shape because I never had anything to push me to my limits. With the help of my coaches and everyone else in the box I have the motivation to work to my absolute max!
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I began going 2x/week, and running on my own 1-2 times a week. Now I've upgraded my membership and have started going 3-4x/week while giving myself about 2 rest days.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Less than 6 months
My girlfriend and I got back from a Hawaii vacationa and were not happy with how self conscious we were taking off our shirts. We decided to do something about it. My aunt had been raving about CF for the last couple of years so we decided to give it a shot in January. We couldn't be happier with our decision!
