How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat about 90% Paleo. Only fresh organic produce, only grass-fed meat, mostly local grown. Chocolate, 1drink per day.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
Work out at HCF Monday-Friday. WOD 4x per week, one day active recovery and mobilization.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
In my youth I was a competition swimmer. Rode bicycles for many years, lots of miles. Practiced martial arts from age 22 until 40. Lifted weights most of my life. I've always been somewhat active.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
4 years now at HCF. I am still improving and having fun.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I rest Saturday and Sunday. By then I need it.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I started on my own, in my garage but I had to quit. When I moved to Eureka I signed up at a box, about 4 years ago.
