ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I cook my own foods each week that are qualitatively designed (fats / carbs / fiber / protein / salt) to support my training and frequent on-the-go schedule. No supplements of any kind are taken. All foods consumed are logged for macros on myfitnesspal and a supplemental Excel spreadsheet. Parameters such as daily caloric intake distribution and calories vs. workout are analyzed to evaluate RX macros on a weekly basis. Bodyweight is recorded daily in the morning as the response variable to caloric intake.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

Work out 5 days weekly. 1 day for the WOD may be substituted with long-distance running.

My Athletic Background

I played college sports

Former NCAA Division 1 wrestler. Also a former NCWA wrestler.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I strictly schedule my rest days

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

Mondays / Tuesdays / Wednesdays / Fridays / Saturdays. All days are single-days with exception of Wednesdays. Wednesdays are Crossfit WODs in the morning, followed by weightlifting 1:1 training in the evening

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

2-4 years

Started late September 2012, but did not entirely pursue until January 2013.
