One year ago, my wife started transitioning our family to a Primal-Paleo diet, but I am a sucker for dessert.

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
Cross Country and Track and Field in High School and Track and Field in College (Long Jump/Triple Jump). After College, I stopped exercising, worked at a desk, ate and drank whatever I wanted, and gained 30 pounds. A few years ago, I started to try and get back in shape by running on the treadmill and doing some basic body weight exercises one to three times a week.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
Prior to CrossFit, I was intimidated by weight training. The instruction from the coaches (thank you Amy, Santi, and Mike) and encouragement from the athletes has been amazing. At the beginning, I struggled with almost every WOD and started doing most of the lifts with just the bar. After three months, I am the strongest and fittest I have ever been and am accomplishing things I never thought possible. I have even started to do some of the workouts at Rx.

I usually only do 1 workout a day
