I am a third generation Crossfitter hoping to receive a bid to the 2015 South Central Regional CrossFit Competition (SCRCFC).
How I Eat
In a single week I try to incorporate at least one technique from lean gains, paleo, primal, zone, gluten-free, south beach, sugar busters, and whatever Dr. Oz is promoting into my dietary routine.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I write my own programming
I train 0-4 days per week at a CrossFit Affiliate where my coach determines my programming, and the remaining 3-7 days per week at a public University facility where I write my own programming that consists mostly of 1) at-your-desk stretches; and 2) bi-hourly walks around the adjacent buildings.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played one year of varsity-level 5A Texas high school football as an under-sized offensive lineman, and four years of recreation-league basketball, until a failed dunk attempt on a fast break my senior year ended my aspirations of playing basketball at the collegiate level.
My Experience With CrossFit
I train other people
I often offer personal advice as well as training tips to fellow athletes at my CrossFit Affiliate when my coach isn't looking.
My Work/Rest Schedule
Decline to answer
I use a proprietary work/rest schedule that may have unlocked the key to maximizing muscle tissue repair at the cellular level.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I have been utilizing a CrossFit-based lifestyle since about 1994.
