red wine, 90% dark chocolate and coffee are my weaknesses. I eat mostly paleo... will cheat with birthday cheesecakes:)

I workout mostly at home, work, or a traditional gym

My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
High school sports at a small school and varsity volleyball at University Have done a couple adventure races... biggest feat completing the 48hour adventure race with my husband (and not getting divorced after)
My Experience With CrossFit
Started CrossFit due to the influence of my husband (the owner/coach of our affiliate). It was something that I could fit into my schedule while still looking after my kids. I enjoy the variety and intensity of the workouts and the bonding that goes on when everyone in the group is giving it a 110% effort. There are many amazing people out there that I get to meet through the CrossFit community. One special group to note is a gym that is located 8 hours away from us, who spontaneously decided to run a fundraiser for our affiliate at our highschool. CrossFit Kitchener and its members raised over $6000 to go towards purchasing equipment for our student athletes to use at the school. THANK YOU CROSSFIT KITCHENER!!
