I've been told that I don't own enough Lululemon to be taken at all seriously in CrossFit. BUT... I do have Reebok branded things, most of which consist of composite hockey sticks and RealFlex shoes; the soles of which jam up my double under (yes, singular lol). I don't ask for a lot, except that I sincerly want EVERY man-coach at CFSP to please beat Bob Harper, who by the way, isn't fooling anyone with that "My Girl is Stronger than You" shirt. :) Happy Open, everyone!
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat whatever is convenient
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
Mostly hockey. Hope to win provincials this year after losing it in OT last year.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I really didn't like CF in the beginning because I thought I sucked at it. I wanted to put on bulk and gain weight but my body isn't built for that, and it killed my cardio. I decided to try the Open this year to see how far I can progress with the WODs and set some realistic goals for next year.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Did CF for a little bit with a certified coach last year, but had to stop because of a severe shoulder separation. Took me 8 months to do pushups again. Health is a gift. I try not to waste my days and workout when I can.
