I am 35, and the mother of 2 amazing CrossFit Kids, own and operate CrossFit AllStar on the Big Island of Hawaii, married to a CrossFitter, and we live our lives at our CrossFit box with CrossFit as the foundation for our health and wellness and general love of life. We spend more time at our gym than we do at our house! CrossFit has saved my marriage, my body, and my ability to live this life to the fullest. I train with my family, and we are strong. I have lived in Maui, Hawaii most of my life, but now live on the Big Island of Hawaii for 8 years. I love to train, coach, and teach. I love life!

My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
After living a sedentary, sickly childhood with asthma and severe allergies, I decided to make a change in diet and lifestyle when I was 15 yrs. old. I have been active in sports and nutrition since that time: paddling Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe, cycling, running, and playing. All past asthma and allergies are non-existent now, I believe due to my Paleo diet. In high school I ran track, threw shot putt and discus, and practiced Olympic Lifting at the High School level while being the first girl to train for Football at my High School.
My Experience With CrossFit

My introduction to CrossFit was with a coach, but one that was unaffiliated at the time. He has since opened a box. I now have my own box, CrossFit AllStar where I train all kinds of people in CrossFit and the love of life. I am also a CrossFit Kids Affiliate and have the honor of training the next generation of athletes! I have been CrossFitting since 2009, Level 1 in 2010, started training small group which grew into opening my own box in Sep. of 2011. We have quadrupled the amount of athletes we train in a year and a half of opening and I have since quit my other teaching jobs to devote all my time and energy to my box.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I rest on Wednesday & Saturday.
