Bio

I've been involved in sport most of my life. Completed Houston-Tenneco marathon in 1988 and several halves, ten milers, 10-5k's since. Most recent was Rhythm and Blues half marathon, February, 2012. I played competitive softball in my 20's and 30's, and discovered weight lifting about the same time. I'm new to Crossfit as of October, 2012. Started with Masters program and progressed my way over to the main box for evening WODs 3x/week. The 2013 Open was my first Crossfit competition and finished 2nd in South Central Division for 55-59 females. Since moving back to NC, I've participated in the Stay Active program at Crossfit Asheville for the last 6 months, focusing on developing weaknesses and honing strengths. I'm looking forward to the 2015 Open, and continuing my development in the Stay Active program at CFAVL.
