I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

My husband and I have a Concept 2 rower in the living room, which has really changed up how I look at workouts with rows. Totally fun to do a few Tabata rounds rows watching Walking Dead :-)
My Athletic Background
I played college sports
I was an on/off again gymnast (emphasis on "off") from age 5-7 and again in 9th grade but then I hit a growth spurt and got tired of smacking my toes on the sides of the uneven bars. I competed in Track and Field (sprints, relays and long jump) from 6th grade through high school and college. I've also competed in Equestrian sports (3 Day Eventing and 50-100 mile Endurance rides). Had a brief stint with sailing and the occasional ride in a golf cart with a beer, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't help with anything Crossfit... although I totally count the stretches with my driver as "mobility" :-) Pretty much, if it's something that makes me sweat or challenges a motor skill, I'm in.

My Work/Rest Schedule
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I'm old. Rest is my friend. That said, I often wonder what it would have been like to do this !@#$ when I was a supple 20 year old and never felt sore for more than day.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Started in Jan 2013. The more I learn I realize how little I know and how much more there is to discover. To me, that is very, very fun. That, and I've met some of the most quality people I've ever known through Crossfit.
