I started crossfit in 2008 in a result of a back injury sustained serving in Iraq. I was told to stop power lifting and I needed to focus on core strength. So I was introduced to crossfit. Since then I have not only strengthen my medical issue's, but have increased everything involving fitness. It allowed to continue in the Marines for another 5 years, and now here I am. Running a Crossfit Affiliate, I have competed in Regionals 2 times and now I will be trying for my 4th year at the age of 35.
