My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
One of my good friends is a CF trainer and he turned me on to it. I had tried CF 1 time before but I didn't care much for it, but I decided to give it another chance. I had been running and doing Bikram Yoga but felt stuck where I was at so a change of pace was in order. From the moment I worked out at the "bring a friend" Saturday WOD on 8/27/2011 I was in love. The competition, encouragement and adrenaline was a recipe for my perfect match. I jumped right in on the "accelerated course" as I like to call it bipassing all entry level classes and quickly caught up to speed with my fellow gym mates. Then after almost 2 years of crossfit in cali, I moved to mississippi for a nursing job in April 2013, and have been at crossfit 17:17 ever since. Love it. Live it. Breathe it.
