I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I swam all growing up and continued it into college with an athletic scholarship at University of San Diego.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
We did a lot of modified CrossFit workouts for swimming in college so I was familiar with CrossFit for a long time before I joined an affiliate.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I typically go into the gym 6 days per week and I will do extra strength and conditioning 3/times per week. My rest days aren't consistant, I just listen to my body and if I need a day to rest I take it.
