I've been crossfitting for over 2 years, I'm going on my 3rd. I have loved it from the first day till this day!
How I Eat
I weigh and measure my food
I started out eating Paleo, which was awesome. But I switched it up and now I eat Zone

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
Since I joined club soccer when I was 10 years old, soccer was year round non stop. Camps, traveling, indoor, outdoor, you name it I did it! Now I coach kids to play soccer.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
After having my last child, I was very over weight. I weighed close to 220lbs and very unhappy. I tried working out at home by running, but all that caused me was to get shin splints (which I still have). So my friends encouraged me to try crossfit. I was so scared!!! I couldn't even do 5 burpees with out wanting to die inside. But over 2 years later I've lost over 50lbs, I've gained a lot of muscle, lost A LOT of inches, have found a new family in the box I go to. I've been competing in Crossfit for the last year and a half and I love every minute of it. I am currently receiving PT from our head coach which has helped so much! He's also a mentor to me. I could not imagine my life with out crossfit!
