Started Crossfitting about 2 years ago -- despite the occasional ache and pain -- I love it -- this year should be fun because Adrienne is doing the games open too!
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
We are probably about 65-70% paleo as a household...we stayed that way since our gyms paleo challenge last year.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
I try to average about 4 days a week -- 3 at my affiliate and 1 or 2 at the Tilton family Rogue garage gym
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
I wrestled and played football -- what I would have given to know then what I know now...I also now play and coach hockey regularly
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I love CrossFit and all that it has done for my general fitness and knowledge of how to develop and maintain a healthier lifestyle
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I try to average 3 days on and 1 day off...but as a father of four it becomes difficult to stick strictly to that schedule -- I try not to beat myself up too much when I have to deviate
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I started CrossFitting almost two years ago...I love it!
