I weigh and measure my food

I train at an amazing gym with amazing people, and when I have time, I swim on my own in the ocean or in a pool.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

I grew up swimming. I dabbled in a few other things, but swimming consumed my life all through college. It still does today actually, but seems to have taken a backseat to CrossFit these last few months.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

Started doing CrossFit after my second Afghan deployment in Sept '12, have been hooked ever since.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I strictly schedule my rest days

I work out in PB at San Diego Athletics 6 days a week, multiple times a day.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

2-4 years

I've been coaching for a couple years and really love how much it solidifies my understanding of the movements and how to look at a workout.
