How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
I'm a big fan of food. We get along quite well.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I train at an amazing gym with amazing people and the best coaches, and when I have time, I swim on my own in the ocean or in a pool.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I grew up swimming. I dabbled in a few other things, but swimming consumed my life all through college. It still does today actually, but seems to have taken a backseat to CrossFit these last few months.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
Started doing CrossFit after my second Afghan deployment in Sept '12, have been hooked ever since.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
I work out at Pariah CrossFit 6 days a week, multiple times a day. I like the mix between the met con and oly lifting. On my "off" days, I swim.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I remember doing it now and then with some friends in college (winter '06), but never really got into it until recently.
