ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I wish I could say I weighed and measured my food, whilst eating strict Paleo, but to be honest, for a long time I was trying to balance, work, life and gym that some things had to give, so I'm being more conscious about what I eat, ensuring my fitness stays at an appropriate level (especially for self care in my job) and ensuring I get sleep and socialising. The great thing about crossfit is the socialising can be done before and after the WOD.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

Reebok Crossfit Northern Ireland is great. It's convenient for me, gives me the motivation and also the fear to keep coming back.

My Athletic Background

I have no athletic background besides CrossFit

I regularly play recreational sports

Before crossfit, I was just another, twice weekly gym attender, maybe a bit of yoga here and there. I knew after many years of paying yearly contracts to big gyms that what I needed was a place that I could do group and individual workouts, without having to motivate myself to do a set workout created by me that was tedious and repeatitive. Crossfit was the solution I needed.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

I joined Crossfit alone, which was soo not like me. I had always went to the gym with a friend and persuaded people to join me. Now, I'm introducing them to Crossfit.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I would be lucky to get 3 workouts a week.
