Bio

I grew up an overweight kid and one day decided to make a change. I began to challenge myself by taking up sports. Played baseball and football in my youth until I found wrestling. I wrestled 3 years in high school and helped my team win a division title. After I graduated and went to college I stopped working out. In 2009 I wanted to take up MMA and as a way of conditioning for it I encountered a crossfit trainer. I instantly fell in love with it and wanted to improve my skills. Soon after I joined Diablo Crossfit. As a recent college graduate I actually had no money to pay for training so I picked up a second job at a retirement home to fund my crossfitting habit. A year and a half later I was hired on as a coach and I get to do what I love for a living. I still consider myself a novice but I am encouraged and motivated by my box coaches and members to better myself each and every day.
