How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat clean for the most part. My body decided a long time ago what I can and can not eat. I stick to chicken, fish, salad, oatmeal, fruit, and boiled eggs pretty much. I drink water 95% of the time. Starbuck's is my weakness when I am in America.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

In Afghanistan I workout at a CF affiliate. I am new to CF, so in America, I do not have a CF gym yet. I do train MMA, MT, and BJJ though at home, and my coaches there determine my workout program.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I regularly play recreational sports

I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Mixed Martial Arts at least 6 days a week, when I am home in America. My goal when I get home will be how to continue my training and incorporate CrossFit.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have attended one or more specialty courses

I train other people

I started CrossFit while in Afghanistan. I had already been in country for 6 months, when I finally got the nerve up to go in. I am in love with it!

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I typically rest fewer than 4 days per month

I spend about 27 hours a week in my gym at home, so I'm definitely going to have to shift things around to fit CF in when I go back. I am not good at taking a rest day, which I know is bad; however, if I don't work out my mood sucks!

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

1-2 years
