How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I try to eat very clean, and stick to Paleo as closely as I can. One thing I have struggled with on Paleo is getting rid of all dairy products. I sure do love my greek yogurt and milk! Other than that Paleo is the way I go!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I write my own programming
I record my workouts
Being a Kinesiology student in college, I have used Crossfit to enhance what training I used to do as a high school athlete! I love the style of training and usually only incorporate in my own additional strength work.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
I have grown up being involved in sports and could not see myself doing anything other than competing! I played club volleyball for a year here at TCU but enjoy that Crossfit is now where I can compete!
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I started doing Crossfit in the summer with a friend of mine who got into it. As I learned more about it and realized that I could compete within Crossfit I decided to join Crossfit Iron Horse. I am so glad I made the decision to join the box and now have a support system of people there to help push me and encourage me along my journey with Crossfit.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I am currently only doing 1 workout a day, but looking to add a few days of doing multiple workouts just to continue to improve myself!
