I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
Never played any sports, not even so much as soccer as a kid! I do have a 10-year yoga background and am a certified instructor.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I got into powerlifting and then the Crossfit.com workouts a few years ago due to working EMS in a firehouse. After two years of doing the workouts and attempting to learn power and oly lifting on my own, I decided I wasn't making the progress I wanted anymore, and needed a coach. I joined Crossfit Central in August 2012. I can't put into words the value of the coaching I receive, and hope to be doing Crossfit and oly lifting for as long as this body allows.
