ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

Some months my diet is atrocious. Others it's pristine. I vacillate like crazy. For the month leading up to the open I'll be eating paleo-esque (no alcohol, sugars, dairy, or grains) but today, the day before I start that challenge, I am eating a burger with fries & mayo and washing it down with several pints of beer.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I record my workouts

I workout 2-3 days a week at Crossfit Vancouver and once a week with my friends who run Precision Athletics. I follow CFV's programming when I'm there and at Precision we usually do some sort of olympic lifting followed by a met-con.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

Rugby, volleyball, and basketball up until about grade 10. just Volleyball in grades 11 & 12 (mostly because I cut class and went to the beach to play there).

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

I usually get in 4 crossfit workouts a week. Sometimes 3 if one of those was particularly brutal.
