Last year I PR'd during the Open Snatch WOD at 135 (and I did it 4 ugly times). I can't wait to see what this year's open brings out of me.

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

I don't miss junk foods... because I eat them every once in a while.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I regularly play recreational sports

Does intramural flag football and softball at University of Maryland count as college sports?

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I train other people

I started as a skeptic knocking kipping pullups as a form of effective exercise. When I was challenged to try them for myself and I couldn't perform the movement, I spent a week self teaching them. Then I tried my first "Fran", I was a personal trainer at the time so of course I threw up a solid time... 14 minutes and change (is that good for a personal trainer?). When my friend told me he did it in under 3 minutes, first I thought he was lying because that had to be impossible, then I realized he was just in much better shape than me. The challenge was thrown down, I haven't looked back. I hope to be about 11 minutes faster on "Fran" than that first time when I do it again this spring.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I strictly schedule my rest days

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

They are long workouts...

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

1-2 years
