How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat about 95% Paleo. That 5% is what really keeps in my check and gives me the ability to remain consistent with my diet.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I write my own programming

I have a strength coach that has helped me make enormous strides in regards to my strength. At the same time though I love the cardiovascular endurance that a true CrossFit metcon brings forward, which is why I workout at my affiliate consistently as well. Nothing like Sunday's open gym to work on weaknesses.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

Soccer in high school. Rugby in college until I broke my left ankle, which still gives me mobility issues to this day.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have attended one or more specialty courses

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I train other people

It's always interesting to look back at where you were when you first started doing CF and where you are now. I never imagined that I'd be able to do the things that I do now. With that said, there's a lot I still have to work on as well.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I strictly schedule my rest days

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

In the off-season I usually have two rest days. Typically Thursdays and Sundays, but since the open is coming up I've been working out twice a day 3 times a week, and then once on the other days with one rest day in between.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

2-4 years
