How I Eat
I try and eat meat and veggies every meal. My buddy Kirk supplies me with a Grass fed cow from his farm about every 6 months. I like good wine (Tobin James) and beer (IPA-Racer 5 or Stones are my favorites), I also have this thing about ice cream.
How I Train
I am a co-owner of CrossFit Excel and train there. CJ Martin does my coaching and programming, my partner and also weight lifting coach Danny Lehr and our trainer Buddy Hitchcock help out too, coaching me during workouts at the gym. My biggest supporter/coach/adviser has been my wife Gina (pictured with me).
My Athletic Background
I played sports most my life and excelled in Football, Track and Pole Vault in high school. Competed in Mountain Bike racing and played adult ice hockey in my mid 30's.
My Experience With CrossFit
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I train other people
Started CrossFit in 2009, competed in the 2010 and 2011 CrossFit Games, sat out 2012 recovering from an injury. Worked hard this year to try and make the top 20.
My Work/Rest Schedule
Besides CrossFit, I have a full time job working for a Solar company. I typically train 5 days a week (after work in the evening) Wednesdays and Sundays are normally my rest days, but it all depends where I am at in my cycle and what CJ programs.
