How I Eat
I weigh and measure my food
I eat Paleo-Zone, except for steel cut oats. Gotta have that warm bowl of oats every morning :)
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
I record all my workouts and lifting on Beyond the Whiteboard, an amazing tool to see my progress over the years. I work out with my CrossFit Kinnick family 3 days per week and alone in my work gym 2 days per week, but always follow my gym's programming.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I grew up playing soccer, including 1 year in college. I ran several half-marathons before starting CrossFit, but that's pretty boring now compared to fun CrossFit WODs.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I first heard about CrossFit from a friend on FaceBook. I did my intro class at CrossFit Kinnick and have never looked back.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
1 workout a day, 5 days per week, with extra lifting 2x per week.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I started CrossFit in June 2010. This will be my 5th CrossFit Games Open.
