I have always had an active life style. I then suffered a traumatic Stroke in April 2011 from playing provincial rugby. It was a blow to me learning that I was not able to do any contact sports again. I underwent a very vigorous rehabilitation programme of occupational therapy, physiotherapy, Biokinetics and also specialised cognitive therapy. I had done gym training for over 20 years before so getting back to a reasonable strength was fairly easy. I was introduced to Crossfit 3 months ago and have become hooked and obsessed with it. At the moment I can keep up with the younger athletes and at times beating them in both weight and time. I would like to take my training to a higher level and compete.
How I Eat
I try to eat Paleo as strict as possible!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
At the moment 3 times a week and 3 sessions at a traditional gym.
