How I Train
I train at CVCF at lunch time during the non-summer months. I play outside when its nice out. I view Crossfit as a training system to enable me to ride my mountain bike or ski powder all day, carry all my groceries into the house in one trip and to enable me to be a dad (pull my kids in their sled, carry them up a mountain, throw them around!). I also recently started playing hockey ("regularly learn and play new sports"). I measure my fitness by how I feel on the Perry Hill climb!

How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Even more important, I've had type 1 diabetes for 27 years. As a result of taking care of myself, my broken pancreas has not negatively impacted my life. I've always had good control of the disease; however, my control improved substantially when I started doing Crossfit.
