How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
Primal is a good way to go. Sweet potato, cheese, chocolate are all good things. Besides caveman probably didn't do burpees for time.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
And I have a crew that drives me to PR regularly.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
Weight training since I was a little guy and have been involved with the Scottish games for ten years.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week
Train hard, get scolded for training to hard, wake up at two am with petrified body, stretch for an hour just so I can get back to sleep, active recovery for the win. (And maybe a lesson learned on what is to much)
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Literally the day after the 2012 games ended I started training crossfit. I was bound and determined to hit the box after work. I have discipline, so getting there was not a problem, but a little forethought might have been good. I, the oblivious knuckle head, had a large pizza for lunch. No joke, the whole damn thing, no sharing. Well, only a few short hours later I was pushing prowlers all over the place, barely able to breath and praying that I don't lose my lunch. And I didn't lose my lunch, but I might have been happier if I had. Definitely learned not to eat the whole pizza at once, save some for recovery after the wod.
