What to Do at the Games

CrossFit

What started on the hills in Aromas continues 10 years later at the StubHub Center.

The CrossFit Games is more than a competition. It's "The Woodstock of Fitness," bringing together CrossFit affiliate owners, trainers, members, athletes and fans from around the world.

What started on the hills in Aromas, California, continues 10 years later at the StubHub Center. The world of CrossFit comes together to cheer, workout, compete in fun challenges, outfit their gyms, and eat good food and drink beer.

Here's what to do at the Games.

Fill out a waiver at one of the information booths and sign up to participate. Then you’ll be free to compete in the day’s workouts, which may even include gear you’ve seen only at the Games.

The Spectator Workout Area is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

COMPETE

Compete in nine challenges at the Vendor tents for the chance to win the title “Fittest Fan” and bring home thousands of dollars worth of gear. (Read more: “Finding the Fittest Fan at the CrossFit Games.”)

EAT AND DRINK

Keep it (mostly) paleo at the food trucks, or delve into the classic sports fan’s diet of hot dogs, nachos and beer.

The food trucks that CrossFit brings in cater to a health-focused fan base, but the venue’s food vendors and restaurants will be open and slinging their wares too. Find the food trucks in Vendor Village and the StubHub Center’s retailers along the concourse.

There is a massive beer tent in Vendor Village, with plenty of shade and TVs piping in a livestream of the competition, making it a great place to relax.

SHOP

The 275,000-square-foot Vendor Village is packed with over 100 vendors that serve the CrossFit community, including Reebok, Rogue, Progenex and Airrosti.

PARTY

The official CrossFit Games After-Party will be held at the Manhattan Beach Marriott on Sunday, July 24 (9 p.m. - 2 a.m. PT). You’re invited to party with CrossFit staff, Games athletes, and other fans of the sport.

It’s an 80s-themed party. Dress accordingly.
