On the men’s side, newcomer Dakota Rager of CrossFit Gloucester earned a first-place ranking in the region for 13.2 with 375 reps. He is currently tied for fifth place in the world with Games athlete Dan Bailey for this workout.

Overall, however, there weren’t many changes on the Men’s Leaderboard. Casey Haines of CrossFit Proven moved into the top spot after completing 349 reps. Chad Michael of CrossFit ACF is in second place and Craig Williams of CrossFit Salisbury is holding in third. 

Ben Smith dropped slightly and is tied for fourth place with CrossFit Murphy’s Ray Gutierrez.  Nate Schrader made an impressive leap from 40th place to 12th by scoring 341 reps this week.

In the Women’s competition, Alea Helmick of CrossFit ReVamped showed the region she was no one hit wonder. Her score of 362 reps on 13.2, bumped her up to No. 1 overall.

Games athlete Christy Phillips completed 379 reps, earning her the top score in the region for this workout and landing her in second place overall. 2009 CrossFit Games champion Tanya Wagner is in third place and Michelle Crawford’s (Ballantyne YMCA CrossFit) performance moved her up into fourth. Morgan Joseph of CrossFit Harbor East has a solid hold in fifth place.

Cory Worf of CrossFit Weddington has risen to the No. 1 position in the region for Master’s Men 40-44 Division. CrossFit Tier1’s Neal Woolard is in second place, while 2008 Games athlete Jeff Tincher remains in the top three spot overall. 

In Master’s Women 40-44 Division, CrossFit Wilmington’s Marcie Wells maintained first place overall in the region, and Michelle Wright of CrossFit Boone continued her hold on second place. Tracy Shuford of College Hill CrossFit advanced to third place by scoring 323 reps. All three women hold worldwide rankings of 13th, 21st, and 23rd, respectively.

Lee Sanford of CrossFit FF moved into the top spot for Masters Men 45-49 Division by scoring 298 on 13.2. Jeff Ernsberger completed 301 reps, the top score for this division, and is second place overall. Victor Hoyos remains at No. 3.

There’s a tie for first place in the Masters Women 45-49.  Kim Holway of CrossFit Reston was No. 1 last week, but Southern Maryland CrossFit’s Terri Farley scored 318 reps on 13.2 and both are currently in first place overall. Tammy Neff rounds out the top three.

There are more ties in the team competition. Overall, CrossFit Murphy is in first place, followed by a tie for second place between RAW Training and CrossFit Reston.  The top three teams on 13.2 are CrossFit Murphy (1,965), CrossFit Explode (1,946) and RAW Training (1,944).
