The prize purse will exceed $2 million in 2015.
Proving yourself among the Fittest on Earth just got more profitable.
CrossFit is increasing the winnings for men and women who finish in second through 19th at the Games, as well as the top five Games teams, top five regional teams, and top five men and women at regionals.
With the new contribution from Reebok, the 2015 prize purse will grow to over US$2,000,000—a 100 percent increase over 2012.
INDIVIDUALS
Once again the fittest man and fittest woman on Earth will net $275,000, while other podium finishers will receive more money than ever before. The second- and third-place prizes are growing by $15,000 to $90,000 and $60,000.
There will also be a $10,000 bump to the cash prize for the fourth-place finisher, for a total of $30,000. The prize money will descend from $20,000 to $2,000 for the remaining athletes in the top 20, with $500 to $2,000 improvements over last year.
Qualifying for the CrossFit Games is an incredible feat, so every individual competitor at the Games will be rewarded with a piece of the prize purse. The top five regional competitors take $5,000, $4,000, $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000, respectively.
